How do I get my work to you? 

  • You can send your digital, PDF, or draft document files via our secure file transfer method, e-mail, or fax. We recommend scanning draft and edited documents to PDF and uploading via our secure file transfer. You can forward audio material to us by hand or via your preferred delivery method (FedEx, UPS, US Mail, etc.). Please complete and enclose our Project Submission Form with your work.

Do you offer same day turnaround?

  • For shorter dictation (1 hour or less), we offer as few as 2 hours turnaround time.  For a slightly higher fee, we are happy to accommodate our clients who require same day turnaround for longer projects.  Send us your project, and we will turn it around as quickly as possible, while meeting our standards for producing high-quality work products.

How will I receive my work?

  • We will send your completed project via our secure file transfer service, where a link to download your file will be sent to you via e-mail.  Registered account holders may choose to have their completed files uploaded to their document library within our Document Center for secure storage and easy access.  Your document library can be used to access all of your documents prepared by OS.

Who is responsible for my document library?

  • OverflowSolutions maintains a secure document library for each licensed account holder at a reasonable annual fee.  Each account holder is granted 24/7 access to their document library and may upload or download documents at any time. This service is an excellent disaster recovery tool and is offered to bring us one step closer to our goal of providing unequaled support services.

I have heard a lot about metadata. What is metadata and why should I be worried?

  • Document metadata describes document attributes such as the title, author, content, location, and date of creation. Metadata can also include hidden information such as tracked changes, built-in documents properties, comments, smart tags, hyperlinks and footnotes. It can even include text that the user thinks has been deleted from a document, some of which may be privileged.  Normally metadata is stored automatically with the document and can be viewed by anyone who obtains an electronic copy of the document.

    There is no need to worry.  When OS prepares your document, we utilize the latest software to help ensure that unwanted metadata is removed automatically.  We use this software to minimize the risk of violating data protection guidelines and disclosing sensitive and/or privileged information.
